Ross Flow Center pin reel

Ross Flow Centerpin Reels

After more than two years of design and development, Ross is pleased to introduce the Flow - a modern rendition of the centerpin reel. The sport of centerpin fishing is loaded with incredible history and tradition, but rather than simply reproducing a reel design that so many have done before us, we have incorporated our thirty plus years of fly reel engineering into what will become the new standard for all centerpin reels.

This reel is SMOOTH! Precision machining, high quality bearings and a perfect balance result in a spool that spins effortlessly and without interruption. Whether you are looking for the perfect drag free drift, or the ability to quickly reel in line, the ultra smooth rotation of the spool will make it effortless. And we didnÕt stop there! We have also incorporated a revolutionary centerpin quick release locking spool, smooth moving on/off cam lever switch to engage and fully disengage the drag clicker and a unique symmetrical spool design that eliminates the need for re-spooling line when converting the reel from left-hand to right-hand retrieve. Add in water shedding groves on the spool edge to help fight big, fast running fish and you have a complete centerpin reel the likes of which have never been seen before!

The Flow centerpin reel comes with the following standard features:

  • Smooth ball bearing rotation
  • Revolutionary centerpin quick release spool design
  • Smooth moving on/off cam lever switch to engage and fully disengage the drag clicker
  • Tapered spool design to promote the smooth release of line
  • Unique symmetrical spool that eliminates the need for re-spooling line when converting the reel from left-hand to right-hand retrieve
  • Removable handle plate
  • Water shedding grooves on spool edge

Greys Bewick Centre Pin Reel

Greys Bewick Centre Pin Reel

You don't have to own a centrepin to enjoy your river fishing or close-in carp and tench work but you're missing a fantastic way of fishing if you never try it out. Centrepins give you a measure of control you'd never previously dreamt of on running water and the thrill of playing a big fish on a 'pin' is something you'll never forget.

The Bewick is designed and engineered in Alnwick around classic designs. They're incredibly light, yet amazingly stong. The shoulder of the reel grows organically from the bar - there's nothing welded here. Look how the reel foot is dovetailed for strength. A quick release spool, delightful handles - the whole reel is just so seductive you'll wonder why you haven't fished with a Bewick before.

  • Classically designed around the traditional 'pin' principle
  • Extreme lightness - perfect for trotting work
  • Flawless engineering and top quality materials ensure strength and lifelong durability
  • Quick release spool
  • Designed and engineered in Alnwick, England.

Okuma Sheffield Sirata SRT-1002 Center Pin Disk Drag Reel<

Okuma Sheffield Sirata SRT-1002 Center Pin Disk Drag Reel

First Okuma and Sheffield set out to deliver a high quality, center pin float reel at a great price. They accomplished this with the introduction of the dependable Okuma Sheffield 1002. Now these two companies have teamed up to create a reel that would revolutionize the way we center pin fish.

The New Sheffield Sirata SRT-1002 is the first center pin reel to feature the precision smoothness center pin's are known for with the fish stopping power of a center disk drag. Now when a fish runs you won't be at the mercy of a simple clicker and an over run spool. Set the drag, turn the drag knob to the off position, cast and drift like a standard center pin reel, then when a fish is hooked, turn the drag knob to the on position. The outgoing drag is silent with a pleasant audible click retrieve.

The Sheffield Sirata SRT-1002 has a 4.5" spool diameter and a line capacity rated at 275 yards of 8 pound line with 50 yards of 20 pound backing.

Additional features of the S-1002 Center Pin Reel include:

  • Precision CNC machined aluminum frame and spool
  • Revolutionary center pin drag
  • Stainless steel shaft
  • Two German precision HPB stainless steel ball bearings
  • Ported spool with exposed rim for easy control
  • On-off ratchet
  • Twin removable handles
  • This reel is silver-bronze in color with a frosted gold reel foot and drag lever.

Please note that these reels are left-hand retrieve only.
